2014 Grandma Results

Pat Dancey is a Three Peat!!!

72 Years Young Pat Dancey became the first runner in the Grandma's history to win the over all title three times. Pat was surprized with the new course that added a few rolling inclines but her guts to go out hard and her determination not to give up brought her through the finish line for the third time in the past four years. A steller charge from Jill Evers-Bowers who placed second overall (FASTEST WOMEN'S TIME 26:22)and a would be effort from 86 year old Jerry Johncock made for a great race. New comer Alex Dyke was the first overall male runner placing fourth and a valiant effort from the Open Men's Field in Chris Santana who had the fastest time of the day in 20:26. Great weather, a challenging course and lots of Grandma's Cookies afterwards greeted this year's 2014 version of Beat the Grandma!
